The Regional Health Safety Security Quality and Environmental (HSSQE) Advisor is responsible for ensuring compliance of and providing support to HMS Health, Safety, Security, Quality, and Environmental Programs.
Assist with various Accounts Receivable related projects for Harley Marine Services and its subsidiaries, including generating invoices, timely response to customers/vendors and monitoring contracts to ensure accuracy of billing of jobs.
Maintain the vessel's engine room and equipment in a state of readiness to perform work for customers as needed. Perform start up and shut down, troubleshooting, and heavy maintenance of vessel power and propulsion systems. This job includes pulling heavy lines and hoses, working on oil and cargo barges, general vessel maintenance, and other tasks that may be assigned from time to time. Perform work as directed by Captain and/or Mate of vessel and Port Engineers.
Schedule, coordinate, and perform vessel repair & maintenance, coordinate purchasing of parts and repair services and supplies, schedule routine maintenance requirements for tugs and barges. Perform inspections of vessels for repair & maintenance standards and procedures. Keep Tugs and Barges in compliance with all regulatory agencies. Keep accurate records of all maintenance performed using company software program.
Port Captain Seattle Directly supervise, hire, train and evaluate marine personnel of the Puget Sound and Columbia River. Conduct Tug Inspections, attend SIRE inspections, and conduct evaluations and navigation audits of Deck Officers via direct observations on board. Develop marine operations and cost control programs for vessels. Assist in new project development, interfacing with customers, etc. Assist in vessel scheduling of personnel as required. Produce weekly Operations reports.
